By Sushovan Parida ----

Phew! I'm tired of these tech posts. Really too much of technology isn't good for health, too much of technology makes my blog a dull spot. So why not go a bit Paranormal!
Here's a treat for all those Paranormal Activity Lovers, for all those Supernatural fans, a tryst with the creepy mysteries circling around the country. Get ready for a ride into the tales of paranormal encounters, presenting the Haunted Hotspots Of India.

1. Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan

Popularly known as the "place of no-return" Bhangarh Fort was established in 1613 by King Madho Singh, son of great Mughal general, Man Singh of Amber. The fort was abandoned soon after it's construction and is said to have been cursed by a wicked magician. People say any house constructed near the fort suffers roof collapse, the only building that has a roof is a temple on the outskirts of the fort.

It has been believed that the ghosts of people who died in that fort haunts the place and therefore entry is restricted between sunset and sunrise. Also, people believe that whoever enters the fort during this time will never return and they would apparently turn into ghosts. Even the Archaelogical Survey Of India outside the area states - Staying after sunset is strictly prohibited in this area.

2. DUMAS Beach, Gujarat

Ever heard of the Dumas beach? let me introduce it then, this is a popular tourist destination but also a funeral ground! Paranormal incidents are frequent here.
There were several reports that ghosts of the dead roam here. It was said that whosoever walks on this beach during nights would hear strange sounds and whispers, as if the wind  is full of spirits. Several tourists were reported to have disappeared while walking on this beach during nights.

3. DOW HILL, Kurseong, West Bengal

This place is famous for being a host to adventure sports and also for it's creepy woods where a large number of people have been murdered. No one has a clue about the murders. People have heard footsteps in the corridors of Victoria Boys School during vacation. Wood cutters and locals have reported seeing a headless boy walking in the woods and disappearing behind trees. All these conspire to make it one of the most haunted places in India.

4. RAMOJI FILM CITY, Hyderabad

This film city is build on the war grounds and is said to be haunted by notorious ghosts of dead soldiers. A lot of paranormal activity has been reported during film shootings. Several people have sustained serious injuries due to shootings as well. Reports reveal incidents of an invisible hand pushing people from ceilings. People complained that they saw shadows in the changing rooms, someone banging the washroom doors closed from outside, and even urdu writings on mirror.

5. GP BLOCK, Meerut

The lesser known GP block of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh has been reported as a haunted place for several years. Local have witnessed four guys sitting inside a house with a single candle lighted and drinking beer. It happens to be the most common sight for people passing through that area. Some of them also said that they have even seen girls in red dress coming out of the house. The house is double-storeyed and people have seen the boys sitting on the roof-top. People have stopped visiting that place now.
And even this photo failed 4 times before finally getting uploaded!!

THE FLIGHT DAY

It was that momentous day and I was ready for it. I found myself in front of the mirror, keenly analysing my own reflection. No I was not a narcissist. I was more intent on determining how much I had changed. Have I really changed? Have I not been the person I was supposed to be? Before I could answer my own questions, I heard the message tone of my phone. It was she and her message said - "Please try to be on time at least tonight. Else let me know, I will help myself with a cab." I replied back - "That won't be necessary. The cab is here already. Starting now. Be ready." I lifted my luggage and rushed to the cab outside.   Shall we directly go to the airport Sir? asked the driver. "No we have to pick someone on the way and then take us to airport." The driver nodded and the cab was on its way. "Someone"- I just referred to her as "someone". Is that what she will be for me after tonight? Is this truly ...
