Feel Windows 8 On Your Windows 7

Do You have Windows 8 yet? Have You felt the Magic Of Windows 8? Have You felt the Metro (Modern) UI yet?
If your answer to any of the questions is NO , then you are at the right place guys (and their babes!)

No I'm not going to give you Windows 8, nor I'm going to install it for you !

I'll just introduce a simple App to give you the feel of windows 8 in windows 7.

You will now know a way to Get the Metro UI on your Windows 7 through Omnimo.

Downloading and Installing Omnimo

To Install and Use Omnimo you need to install an utility named Rainmeter.
Download Rainmeter .
Rainmeter is a desktop management utility that allows inclusion of skins, themes and widgets to Windows desktop.

Once downloaded Install the Rainmeter and directly head to Download Omnimo.The Omnimo zip file is around 20MB approx.
Extract the zip file and you can see the following components :

Click on the SET UP file if you do not have an already installed version of Rainmeter.
Click UPGRADE if you already have Rainmeter installed.
Then you will have the following view on screen :

Now just select your preferred theme out of the three options above and you are set to experience the Metro UI .
While not being a perfectly a Metro UI, Omnimo lets you use several customizations.

You just have to click the right arrow at the centre of the screen where you can add new tiles; existing tiles can be deleted by clicking the X in the top-right corner. You can also drag and reposition the tiles.
Omnimo comes with a host of useful add-ons including CPU monitors, local weather to adding RSS feeds, altering tile backgrounds more.

There's a lot of Metro UI utilties available for Win 7 but Omnimo is the simplest of them.
If you want to get a feel of the Metro before you actually install the uber-cool Windows 8, then Omnimo is the perfect choice.
