Women Safety | Why You Should Buy A Pepper Spray ?

Safety of Women in our country was never as vulnerable as it is now. Freedom has now become a bane for Women. That doesn't mean Women will sacrifice their freedom because of some inhuman anti-socials. We might not be able to bring immediate reforms in society and law system, but what Women can actually do is learn self defence. Any attacker, whether it is human or animal will immediately back off when hit with a spray of strong pepper compounds. The irritants immediately affect the eyes, which are clamped shut and the victim has the opportunity to get away and seek help.

Few facts about Pepper Spray - 

• The potency of the spray is not affected by the size of the spray bottle. For regular people, a small bottle that can be neatly hidden in bags and purses is more than enough. 
• The pepper spray can bring down the attacker for a minimum of 15 minutes. Stronger sprays can put the attacker in a vulnerable position for a good 30 minutes, which means you have adequate time to seek help ad notify the authorities. 
• It may be more tempting to buy a larger bottle, but these are useful only when you are out camping etc. or for law informant officers. For regular use, a smaller spray bottle that fits in your bag is better because it is more accessible. It can be hidden easily so the attacker will not be prepared for your retaliation. 
• There are 3 common types of pepper sprays. A steam pepper spray needs accuracy and a careful aim and is best used by those who have years of practice. A cone mist spray is a better option; you simply need to spray in the near proximity of the face to have desired results. A fogger needs only general accuracy in direction as well and can subdue your attacker for a little while, so that you can get away. 

The active ingredient in pepper sprays is an aerosol that has active Oleoresin Capsicum that is a strong Chile Pepper. The amount of capsicum used in the spray will determine its potency. It will inflame the mucous membrane and hurt the throat, lungs, eyes and nose if used correctly.

• It causes no permanent damage, and you don’t have to worry about causing serious harm to the attacker
