What The F*s ? - Facebook marries Firefox 17 !

I was a Firefox lover, I grew up on the Web using our dear Old Firefox until I got swayed by the Google Chrome chronicles like everyone. A lighter interface with unmatched fast browsing kept me glued to Chrome and I could never find enough reasons to revert back to my dear Firefox. Thanks to the consistent bugs in my Chrome, I looked for an able alternative and actually rekindled my affair with Firefox, rather with the All new

Perhaps you think I uploaded the wrong screenshot above, actually I just showed you the biggest reason to switch to Firefox. I've no idea if Facebook and Firefox are plotting against Google Chrome, but now you actually have a Facebook Messenger for Firefox, exclusively!

This integrates the Facebook Messenger with the sidebar as well as the top bar (highlighted by circle in screenshot) . Now you'll say so what! Chrome also has facebook in sidebar. Actually this sidebar and top bar will accompany you wherever you go! Oops!
I mean the sidebar will be on even if you are on browsing on other websites (yes! even without a facebook tab open)

Here's how to to do it -

1. Download Firefox 17
2. Go to Facebook Messenger for Firefox
3. Click Turn On (green button in above screenshot) and Log in to Facebook.

The four buttons on the top navigation bar in the above screenshot lets you access facebook features seamlessly while you browse other websites.
The first button links to your profile, as well as letting you hide the Sidebar and Desktop notifications (yes you get FB notifications on desktop even while browsing other sites). This lets you hide either one, or both, to keep distractions to a minimum. You can also disconnect the integration entirely by clicking Remove from Firefox.

The next three buttons are familiar - Friend Requests, Messages and Notifications respectively.
So this alliance of the two F's (firefox and facebook) is sure to amuse and make you say - WHAT THE F* ?
